ABS embarks on a connected and collaborative teaching and learning journey by creating learning communities where students, staff, and alumni can experience meaningful education. Our primary delivery method is not classroom-based contact learning, but we utilize the latest technology to create a connected networked community where learning is interactive and collaborative. Thanks to advanced satellite-based education technology and the institution’s expertise in large online open courses (e.g., Google Classroom), WiFi in auditoriums and halls, Internet live streaming, mobile applications, and more, our approach continues to grow.
Within a learner-centered approach, classroom activities facilitate knowledge construction and actively involve students in learning through networked collaborative learning. Our environment fosters intellectual curiosity, an essential skill for sustained critical and creative thinking. ABS offers outstanding, economically relevant higher education programs and produces world-class graduates who are motivated and capable of making a difference.
Several facilities have been built to enhance learning on campus and provide students with safe study spaces. The institution’s Main Library has Learning Spaces that create an innovative and stimulating learning environment; it is an extension of classroom life. There are also dedicated research rooms for master’s and doctoral students.

Our Story
ANAN University Business School (ABS) is an innovative effort of the ANAN University Kwall, Nigeria, established as a non profit private university with a mission to provide professionals and researchers the modernity driving leading educational institutions in this 21st century world. The university is licensed by the National Universities Commission in Nigeria and is the making of the Association of National Accoutnants of Nigeria (ANAN) which is Africa’s leading body of professional accountants established in 1979 with the unique mandate of ‘advancing the science of accountancy’. With diverse membership accross the African continent ANAN is positioned to invest in promoting accountancy and the overall management field towards eloquence in research and efficient practices for a better world.
ABS is presently leading the birth of a pan-African Association of Collegiates of Business in Africa (ACBA) in order to promote precipitation of university business schools and provide avenue for regionally compatible accrediation system towards quality assurance and accessibility.
Our professional courses and research capabilities are designed for global excellence. We are focused on contributing to the needs of our communities and creating a lasting impact that empowers people to achieve their goals. Our graduates’ goal is to become ethical and astute thinkers who are competitive in the global economy. And their experience at ABS shapes their self- esteem and their future career.
As all modern humans can trace their ancestry back to Africa, we proud ourselves as key movers in providing educational solutions to our descendants dispersed across all continents without boundary. With a population of around 6.5 billion people (and Nigeria’s at over 200 million) today, this population growth means ABS doing more to provide educational opportunities to your door steps as much as it can do.
ABS operates from both the University’s premises at Kwall in Plateau State and its liaison and online learning centre in Abuja, all in Nigeria. The School’s learning environment and facilities were designed with the inquiring mind in mind – serenity that spurs thinking and facilities that encourage perseverance, making our learning culture a fun.

ABS is overseen by the Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. M.I. Fodio and guided by the Advisory Board Chaired by Prof. S.A.S. Aruwa. Activities of the School are overseen by the Management Team headed by the Executive Director Dr. Halidu Ibrahim Saidu.
